The SD.EXTO is a 1 to 6-Point Multiple Rod Extensometer which combines a traditional Multi-rod design and digital signal processing to result in dramatically improved accuracy and reliability.

This high-precision digital instrument comprises up to six (6) Linear Variable Induction Transducers (LVIT) and an onboard digital temperature sensor.

The SD.EXTO comprises a tough fiberglass tube, stronger and more durable polyethylene cover; An internal rubber spacer that ensures that the central core will not be damaged by shear movements of up to 10mm; hermetically sealed electronics that operate indefinitely when submerged in water, and robust torsionally straightened stainless steel rods.

The SD.EXTO can be purchased with 4 or 6 anchor points and at lengths of 9 or 18M.

This sensor is designed to work with the FreeWave Fusion Mini.
