The Water Level Sensor is an industrial quality, hydrostatic pressure sensor that connects to the FreeWave Fusion Mini.

The sensor comes with a pressure equalized cable and is calibrated to the length of the cable in water (for example a 3-meter version is calibrated to a depth of 3 meters).  The cable attaches to a Junction Box where the atmospheric pressure can be equalized with the sensor for accurate readings. 

The sensor can be purchased off-the-shelf in 3M, 5M, and 10M lengths.  The sensor can also be ordered in custom lengths up to 200M but will need to be built by the supplier.

A separate 2-meter signal cable from the Junction Box is provided to interconnect with the Fusion Mini

The sensor can be used in both water tanks or trough scenarios as well as being used to measure river height levels. The data supplied by the sensor is a raw value converted to a tank volume or river height measurement dependent on the configuration of the Fusion Mini.
