This article outlines the process for validating that your FreeWave ModuSense Sensors are configured and connected correctly.

*NOTE: The ModuSense Sensor Validation feature requires your device to be running a minimum firmware version of 1.1.0

Scan for and connect to your nearby FreeWave ModuSense

If your device does not have the "Check Sensor Ports" option, then your device requires a firmware upgrade *. Please see our article on how to upgrade your device firmware)

Pressing "Check Sensor Ports" will initiate the sensor port check

Once the port check is complete, you will be shown the result of the port check. This result will differ depending on the firmware version running on your device. 

For devices running firmware version >= 1.1.0 you will be shown whether or not the device could read from the configured sensor

For devices running firmware version >= 1.1.3. You will be shown an actual reading from the attached sensor on the port if it could get one.

You have successfully checked the status of your ModuSense Sensors!
