Issue:

In the FGR3-C firmware version 11.00.11 (Initial Release):

1. Signal and Noise values reported from the firmware in hexadecimal format (0-F) instead of decimal 
2. Noise value reported as an instantaneous value resulting in volatility

• • The above issues would cause Diagnostics values to trigger Warning and Alarm Alerts. 
  • Additionally we released the attached Product Advisory back in December 2019 clarifying that Tool Suite must be updated to prevent disabling the hidden unit specific Transmit Power Calibration value. 

Resolution:

Use Tool Suite version 2.13.2 (or newer) to upgrade the FGR3-C firmware to version 11.00.13 (example screen shot below)

Optimal product behavior of FGR2-C Product Series and FGR3-C Firmware version 11.00.13 (available in Tool Suite version 2.13.2):

1. Signal and Noise reported in decimal format (0-9)
2. Noise reported from the firmware as an averaged value.
